Confirmation of Registration Received by Social Media or Text Message

This checklist applies when the client has confirmed by Social Media or text message, that they have either registered in or started the course(s). 

Refer to the “Registration Checklist” to determine the appropriate process. 

The message must include the provider (institution), program (if applicable) and course(s) the client has registered in or started.  

    • If the course has a registration process, the message can confirm that the client has either registered in or started the course(s).  

    • If the course does not have a registration process, the message must confirm that the client has started the course(s). A screenshot of the message must be copied to the registration form before completing the registration form. 

When adding multiple registrations to a form, ensure all fields are identical, as changes will affect all courses selected.

Who Confirmed Registration/Course Started   

  • Select the option that applies: 
    • Client
    • Referral Partner
    • Institution
  • Note: CN staff are not applicable for this scenario.

Contact Name

  • This field appears only if a "Referral Partner or provider (institution)" confirms the information. Search and select the contact name from the options.

Method Received Confirmation

  • Select "Confirmation of Registration Received via Social Media."

Client Confirmation Information

  • Paste a screenshot of the social media chat or text message.

Registration Status      

  • Select the appropriate status from the drop-down menu:
    • Registered - Not Started
    • In Progress
    • Completed
    • Incomplete (etc.)

Anticipated Course Start Date

  • If you know the date when the course is starting, enter the date.

Delivered on CN Platform

  • If you're unsure whether it is delivered on one of CN's platforms select "No.
  • If you know it is delivered on one of CN's platforms, select the appropriate platform from the drop-down menu. 
  • If you select "XR," a new field labelled "XR Application Used" will appear. Select the appropriate option from this new drop-down menu.

CN Laptop

  • Select "No" if they are using their own devices.
  • Select "Yes" only if they are participating in the CN technology loan program.

CN Modem

  • Select "No" if they are using their own devices.
  • Select "Yes" only if they are participating in the CN technology loan program.

Confirmed Reviewed Registration

  • Select "I confirm registration is valid and all information is documented in CRM."

Review Confirmation Date      

  • Enter the current date and specific time.

Study Path Intake Information 

This section displays the information entered on the client's initial intake or study path. Make any changes applicable to this particular registration before saving. Note that any updates made to the initial intake page will not automatically transfer to the registration form.
