Scenario 1: CN Staff Registered with Student Consent  

This scenario applies only to courses with a registration process and where we have registered the client. There must be a valid, signed Consent to Register, listing the provider (institution), the program (if applicable), and the course (s), documented on the client profile and the consent tab before completing the registration form. 

Additionally, only make this update after the client has been registered in the course(s) and an email has been sent to them confirming the provider (institution), the program (if applicable), and the courses in which they have been registered. Use the appropriate "Confirmation" email template. This should be done before completing the registration form.

When adding multiple registrations to a form, ensure all fields are identical, as changes will affect all courses selected.

Was this Registration Generated?   

  • Select "Yes"

Date Registration Confirmed

  • Enter the date the confirmation email was sent. Use the appropriate Confirmation Email Template.

Registration Generated by

  • Enter your name or the name of the staff member who generated the registration and select it from the search options.

Most Applicable Method to Generate Registration          

  • Select "Registered client with written consent from the client."

Who Confirmed Registration/Course Started  

  • Select "CN Staff" 

Method Received Confirmation

  • Select "CN Staff Registered with Consent."

View of Student Consent to Register

  • Search for the client's "Consent to Register" for the specific course(s) being added. 
  • If the consent form does not appear in the search, first verify that you have received it. Then, navigate to the client profile and add the form.

Date and Time Registration Confirmation Sent

  • Enter the date and time of the confirmation email.

Steps to Follow

Registration Status      

  • Select the appropriate status from the drop-down menu:
    • Registered - Not Started
    • In Progress
    • Completed
    • Incomplete (etc.)

Anticipated Course Start Date

  • If you know the date when the course is starting, enter the date.

Delivered on CN Platform

  • If you're unsure whether it is delivered on one of CN's platforms select "No."
  • If you know it is delivered on one of CN's platforms, select the appropriate platform from the drop-down menu.
  • If you select "XR," a new field labelled "XR Application Used" will appear. Select the appropriate option from this new drop-down menu.

CN Laptop

  • Select "No" if they are using their own devices.
  • Select "Yes" only if they are participating in the CN technology loan program.

CN Modem

  • Select "No" if they are using their own devices.
  • Select "Yes" only if they are participating in the CN technology loan program.

Confirmed Reviewed Registration

  • Select "I confirm registration is valid and all information is documented in CRM."

Review Confirmation Date      

  • Enter the current date and specific time.

Study Path Intake Information

This section displays the information entered on the client's initial intake or study path. Make any changes applicable to this particular registration before saving. Note that any updates made to the initial intake page will not automatically transfer to the registration form.
